Implementation
Start with one vessel. Expand with confidence.
A five-phase rollout reduces risk and proves value vessel by vessel. Start with the immediate operational requirement and grow into connected fleet intelligence.
- 01
Discovery
We assess your workflows, AMS access, connectivity and knowledge sources.
- Priority workflows confirmed
- Pilot vessel selected
- Interfaces and data sources mapped
- Pilot success criteria defined
- 02
Pilot vessel
Core workflows, the local database, synchronisation and selected data capture are configured on one vessel.
- Equipment hierarchy & job library imported
- Vessel app installed and registered
- Sync validated over the real link
- Crew trained
- 03
Shore platform
Central database, shore application, roles and dashboards are deployed for your technical team.
- Roles & permissions configured
- Dashboards and reports live
- Postponement & approval flows agreed
- Integration with ERP / inventory scoped
- 04
MARKS layer
Approved manuals and records are ingested and grounded technical queries validated.
- Document sources approved
- OCR and indexing verified
- Answer quality reviewed with engineers
- Access rules applied
- 05
Fleet rollout
Vessel by vessel deployment, user training and continuous enhancement.
- Rollout schedule per vessel
- Release channel management
- Sync health monitoring
- Ongoing improvements
Risk discipline, built in
Interfaces, data quality, monitor extraction and AI retrieval are validated before production expansion. Timing and scope are finalised during discovery — no deployment dates are assumed up front.
FAQ
Rollout questions
How long does a rollout take?
Timing depends on fleet size, data quality and interfaces, and is agreed during discovery. The pilot-first approach means value is visible on one vessel before the fleet commits.
What hardware is needed on board?
The vessel application runs on a standard Windows workstation in the ship's office or engine control room. Data capture from AMS or monitors may need additional equipment, assessed during discovery.
Can you migrate our existing data?
Yes. Equipment and standard jobs are imported from structured templates, with automatic flags for duplicates and missing links so the data is cleaned before it goes to vessels.
Do you provide training?
Yes — for crews on board and for shore teams, delivered remotely or on site, with training videos available inside the shore application.
